Fast-growing MobileLogix, the Glendale-based mobile workforce management software company, has raised $2.2 million in its Series A round.
The startup raised the money from local investors, led by Canal Partners’ Todd Belfer and Jim Armstrong, as well as Tallwave Capital’s David Paul and Nate Mortensen.
The money will be used for sales, marketing, product development and hiring, said MobileLogix CEO and founder Ron Babich.
“We have an awesome trajectory,” he said. “We want to do $3 million in revenue this year and want to get to $50 million within four years.”
MobileLogix currently has 14 enterprise customers and 2,700 users, Babich said.
The six-employee company wants to hire around 25 people this year, with high-paying positions in sales, pre-sales support and software developers. Salaries range from $75,000 to $130,000.
