Horizontal platform’s asset tracking capabilities recognized by M2M industry insider publication
June 13, 2013 – Omnilink today announced that it has been named to M2M Evolution Magazine’s Hot List, an elite ranking of M2M technology providers whose special “x factor” makes them best-in-class. M2M Magazine expert and columnist Carl Ford curated the latest List, entitled From the Simple to the Complex Asset Tracking, which highlighted the asset tracking and management providers Ford recommends for both top-notch technology and superior support.
Ford reminds businesses in search of an asset tracking partner that “there are a lot of companies that can sell on price, but in the long run will fail on support…remind yourself as you are selecting your vendor that the last thing you want your asset management system to be is a stranded investment.”
“We are truly honored by this recognition of our platform’s asset tracking capabilities and performance,” said Kelly Gay, chief executive officer at Omnilink. “We are truly committed to providing top-tier reliability and support to our customers.”
Ford points out that asset management ranges in complexity from basic inventorying to distribution management, but whatever the case, the ROI realized by theft prevention and asset optimization can be significant, even priceless. He states that Omnilink has a “history of success with asset tracking and supply chain that can add a compelling rationale to the business case” and continues that it’s horizontal platform is “valuable” for enabling mobility and can be used for “complex” implementations.” Ford also highlights Omnilink’s history with fleet and telematics.
The Hot List is Omnilink’s fourth industry recognition in 2013—following the 2013 Best Overall Platform award, the Women of M2M award, and the CW 100 List recognition—and their 23rd since the company’s inception in 2004.
