LAS VEGAS — Doug Anderson, Chief Product Officer of Limos.com, told operators at the 2012 International LCT Show that 2012 will be the “Year of the Local Operator.”
Research has shown that two billion people worldwide use the Internet daily, and 97% of Internet use is spent researching local businesses. He explained that operators who use Limos.com have a potential reach to an audience of about seven times that of the U.S. population. Anderson also said that 70% of Limos.com customers pick a service that is more expensive than the lowest priced service available in the market.
Limos.com will be re-launching its mobile V.2 app in about four weeks and will be launching the first major market for on-demand service in about six weeks. The on-demand service is part of Limos.com’s initiative to disrupt the taxi space and push limousine and chauffeured car service as the top choice for travelers.
