Participants include Omnilink, Google, Verizon, AT&T, Coca-Cola, Cisco, Porsche and more
October 1, 2013 – The first ever Mobility LIVE! event in Atlanta brought together “key thought leaders and decision makers in the areas of mobile technology standards, strategies and innovations,” including
Omnilink, Google, Verizon, AT&T, Coca-Cola, Cisco, IBM, Porsche, CNN, Equifax, The Weather Channel, and more, and gave attendees an opportunity to “rub elbows with the biggest names in mobile.”
Steve Hudson, chief development officer of Omnilink, was asked to participate in the panel entitled “Atlanta as a Hub for M2M Innovation”—co-chaired by Bert DuMars of Forrester Research and J. Gerry Purdy, PhD. of Compass Intelligence—which explored the reasons why all companies are addressing M2M, and how to build a successful M2M business.
Omnilink—along with “five leading players in M2M,” including AT&T and Verizon—gave presentations on order to “demonstrate an example of what success looks like to help others in attendance take that experience into their own operation.”
Hudson presented Omnilink’s advanced electronic monitoring solution, which combines GPS/AFLT ankle bracelets with web-based applications and support services to give corrections agencies the ability to reliably track and monitor offenders in the community, 24/7, indoors and out. Omnilink’s electronic monitoring solution helps reduce recidivism, jail overcrowding, and incarceration costs while improving compliance with conditions of release, outcomes for offenders, and public safety.
Mobility LIVE! is one of the many mobile and M2M-focused events Omnilink thought leaders contribute to every year.
